7th Thessaloniki Vitreoretinal School 2017
The doctor participated as instructor and speaker at the 7th Thessaloniki International Vitreoretinal School held in Thessaloniki, Greece 26/6-1/7/2017. In this event ophthalmologists from around the world are having hands-on experience in surgical retina with the most up to date ophthalmological equipment, performing surgeries in wet labs and using the virtual reality simulator and 3D head-up display for operating from a screen without the microscope eyepieces. Big names in the field of VR from around the world take part as instructors and speakers, offering the opportunity to the students to have a first hand experience into a wide variety of surgical diseases of the retina. There is also a series of daily lectures on the most interesting, contemporary and recent advances in Ophthalmology.
